March Re-Cap

Our March kept us busy - lots of buisness with these 3 little ones. Jason has been working out of town consistantly which is hard on everyone. The kids especially struggle with it - they love their Daddy! But we keep busy and count the days until he is home. Here is a peak of some of what we did in March.

I went to a Home Builders Workshop at Calvary Chapel. I really enjoyed that and got the bug to plant some seeds. These were my starts - they did really well. I was very imoressed with myself, I don't usually seem to have a green thumb!
My kung fo fighter. Cam is obsessed with knives, swords and kung fo!
We waited and waited and waited for snow ALLLLL winter. We finally got some...in MAY! The kids and I played out in the snow (while they were sick...) with this awesome snowman kit my mom gave us.
 Runny nosed Cam
 And runny nose Blake
Oh yep, a third runny nose Sis
Had a bad cold that playing in the snow made worse. Kids have been getting sick less frequently which is a welcome change.

Blake is  my thinker! Loves puzzles and can do any I give by himself, even if it's the first time he has seen it! He also knows all his letters!
Madison turning into a little bit of a girly girl. She loves to do whatever I am doing. Especially my makeup!
Sheila, Jen and I were in charge of all the decorations for the HPC banquet. It was a little stressful but fun working together and it came together SO nice! My mom spent the day helping us decorate -which we really needed! We all attended that night and enjoyed our hard work and were blessed to hear about all the center does and how we can help.
First time ever in flip flops. Nothin' cuter!
Jason working hard - as always - on the master remodel. It's looking good!

Sick, sick, sick...

This has been quite the week around here - we got hit hard with sickness! Last Wednesday the kids woke up with stuffy noses and went south from there. By that evening Blake was running a fever of 104.5 (way to high for my taste!) We were able to get it down a little but he continued it through the night. By morning though he was fine - was his normal happy self. Weird. Madison was definately the worst, she didn't sleep most of the night and was really lathargic and whiney. She also started with an awful cough. Cam was also coughing and starting to show signs joinging the sick ranks. Mom came over to help me, she's a lifesaver! They were getting whineier (yep, that's a word! :)) and sicker. Cam was starting to wheeze and naps were non-existant because of the coughing. We decided to see Dr. John - who by the way is the MOST awesome Dr. ever! He wanted to see us so Mom and I packed up Cam and Madi and headed over. What a ride that was, the kids were so miserable so needless to say so was the car ride. Ohh, poor kiddos! Got there, Cam was having breathing issues again and needed steroids to treat it. He had and awful sore throat - Doc was convinced it was strep it looked so bad but it wasn't, swollen glands, yucky eyes, nose and cough. Poor kid! M had a double ear infection, awful cough, sore throat. So she got antibiotics and steroids to clean up her cough. He also thinks M has a touch of RSV that is causing it to take longer to pass. (side note - so thankful that we are past the stage where RSV was the scariest word I could ever hear! The Lord has brought us SO far!!)  Didn't ge home until about 10 and got them to bed for aother long night. So thankful for my moms help! It would have been really hard to handle by myself!  Blakes fever randomly spike up high to 104.8 this time. We were able to control it and it cleared up by morning again. Dr. just said to watch him and he seemed to be doing ok, no other symptoms. It's been slow healing for these kids, each day they seem to get a little better but a slow run. Yesterday (Monday) Blake started coughing and seems to be joing the ranks. He doesn't seem to be hit as hard so far, so I am praying he won't get it too bad! We had two good naps and the nights are slowly starting to get better and better. So I think we are the mend. I ended up getting sick too on Friday and was pretty sure I was going to die. It gave me a whole new outlook for those poor babies! Jason is starting to get it now too - so we are praying it passes quickly! It's been a tiring week to say the least. But in the middle of the sickness I did realize how grateful I am the I get to be the one to take care of them, that Jason is SO good at taking care of me and the kids and everything else and my for my Mom who is such an amazing friend/helper!

True Love

9 years of being married to this hottie! 9 years makes me feel a little old...I am pretty sure I can't be old enough to be married that long. Haha...I am so thankful for this man God brought into my life. Can't imagine going through life with anyone else!
Jason is one of the most giving, selfless people I know. He is forever taking care of me and always putting my needs first. We have definately had some hard years, some crazy, some really fun, some sad, some filled with finding out we're expecting triplets, having preemie triplets, raising triplets (haha you get the point) He's always there, always loving and giving.
We had a wonderful weekend away in Boise. Got a great room-a suite-at our favorite place to stay. Lots of eating out at delicious restaurants, shopping, furniture shopping, watching movies, getting dessert crepes and even some working out. Lots of relaxing and hanging out which was really needed! My parents were very sweet to watch the kids for us and sounded like they all had a blast! They sure do love it there which is a blessing for me. All in all a great weekend, thankful we were able to get away! Happy Anniversary Babe! I sure love you!

Valentines Day Fun

We had a fun Valentines Day! The morning of we had some fun little surprises for the kids. They thought that was pretty fun! Jason and I had decided to go pretty small this year but we still got each other a little something special! :) I am pretty sweet on my Valentine, he's a pretty great guy!
We had a fun morning filled with games and treats - including heart shaped donuts and candy in our milk. Then we got ready for our party for lunch.

Grammy, Grandpa Randy, Pop pop, Great Grandma, Kristen and Jonah all came over for a special lunch. The kids had strabwerry milk and heart shaped sandwhiches. The adults had salad, fruit salad  and chicken salad sandwhiches. Lots of salad huh? Mom made a coconut cream pie that was DELICIOUS! Mmmm...

It was a great day! We had a nice pulled pork dinner as a family and just chilled for the evening.
Fun day with some special people!

LOVE this baby! He's so sweet - makes our parties even more fun!

Valentine Fun

I didn't get any pictures - which I hate but had to document our fun morning anyway! The kids and I got up early today and we made some Valentine sugar cookies. The kids were a great help! It is fun that they are getting old enough to help with this kind of thing! We made heart cookies and frosted them red with red sprinkles. I had some cute heart plates we put them on wrapped up with cute red ribbon.
We made Valentines with their hand prints on them and I wrote "You are hands down our favorite Valentine" Haha..corny huh? Came up with it on my own! After that we rushed out and hand delivered our goodies to our Valentines. Fun day! The kids each took a turn getting out and carrying the goodies to the door. It was pretty dang cute. It was fun showing up and surprising everyone.
Came home for a late nap. I was tired after all that fun, I tend to bite off more than I can chew...But it worked out and was great fun! We will have to make it a tradition.
More fun to come tomorrow!!

Celebrating Jonah

My mom and I threw a shower for Kristen and her first baby boy! Such an exciting thing that first little baby! We had a great turn out and the shower came together really cute. I went with an old fashioned toy theme. I loved it, and the best thing is I had almost everything I needed already! :)
We had fruit salad, cupcakes (with awesome paper cupcake holders that my cricut made) donut holes with sprinkles, ice cream and lemonade. Mmmm...wish I had some now!
Mom planned the game  - a pretty funny one too! Kristen got a lot of nice gifts - it's one of the most fun parts! Lots of great visiting and fun with family and friends! Kristen makes a great mommy! Now she is all set up and ready for Jonah (and Sage) to come home! YAY!!
