{Project 365} January 24th

For our school time we decided to make pictures for Uncle Sage who is far away as Cameron says. They each helped me write "We miss you Uncle Sage" and their name. Then they colored and put on stickers.
We are going to send them but for now took pictures to show Uncle Sage.
Love these kids!

{Project 365} January 23rd

Love out Sundays! Church and family time - it's so nice to have Jason home for every Sunday right now. I have SO missed that. We had a great day together. Such a sweet family I have!

She IS a girl. Mood swings and all.
She is my JOY, and oh how hard she can be.
LOVE her - love everything about her!
These pictures were literally 30 seconds apart. First she was happy...

{Project 365} January 21st

No pictures today but it was a fun, eventful day. Went to Boise for the day to spend some time with the parents. Miss them so much - HOPEFULLY they will be back this way soon! Anyway, spent the day visiting and having fun. Mom took Madison with her to dinner with all her sister-in-laws and Dad, Grandpa Jones and I took the boys to Jalepenos. VERY good and very fun! We went and got coffee after that and headed to Jake's basketball game. That boy is good - he can even dunk! I haven't got to see him do it yet but can't wait to! They won tonight by 30 points. The kids did great - I was proud of them. Now we are all very tired and heading to bed. Ready for the weekend!!

{Project 365} January 20th

They have a basketball jones!
Especially Cameron - he LOVES basketball! And he's pretty good too!
He can dribble and shoot and has a pretty good percentage!
The other two are starting to get into it too.
The new favorite is to stand on the stairs and shoot together.
Love that they are starting to play more together.

Getting Organized

I have been needing to get scheduled and organized for a long time. Jason has been trying to get me to set up a daily schedule for a while now. He knows it will help, I know it will help. But I drag my feet. Why???? Because I am a little weird. I thrive on organization, stability and schedules. However - I hate to actually write it down and tie myself down to it. Forget that I am an adult and can change it if needed, and otherwise stick to it and see if it would help. Oh dear...

So, I took the plunge. Jason sat down with me and helped me write out a daily schedule to follow (but change if needed :)) I have only been doing it for two days but let me tell you it's been great! I have been getting SO much accomplished, spending more time with kids, getting my Bible study and work out done and feeling great (really tired but great) at the end of the day. I think it's going to be a blessing in my life and I am thankful for a smart husband to encourage me when I need it! So here's the schedule:

7:00 - wake up
7:00 - 7:45 - Bible Reading
7:45 - 8:15 - Work Out
8:15 - 8:30 - Shower (get ready throughout the morning)
8:30 - 9:00 - Kids up, drink milk get going for the day
9:00- 10:00 - Breakfast and clean up
10:00-11:00 - "School Time" ( We are taking time to learn colors, letters and shapes. Color, play with playdough ect...)
11:00 - 12:00 - Kids play Mom cleans
12:00 - 12:30 - Lunch time
12:30 - 1:00 - Get ready for naps
1:00 - 3:00 - NAP TIME!!! :)
3:00- 3:30 - Snacks
3:30 - 4:30 - Play, clean, catch up on stuff
4:30 - 5:30 - Make dinner
5:30 - 6:00 - Kids quiet time - mom quiet time
6:00 - 6:30 - Dinner Time
7:00 - 7:30 - Family Bible and prayer time

Whew...So that's our day! It's been working out great with lots of flexibility. We'll see how it goes!

{Project 365} January 19th

We have the coolest Daddy in our house! He's been building them all sorts of forts. They love them.
Blake LOVES music. Any kind, anywhere, anytime!
He got this kitty piano for Christmas. It is his favorite, he sings and plays and has the best time.
Such a sweetie!

{Project 365} January 18th

My sweet girl.
She LOVES pockets!
She always has her hands in her pockets if she can. She will fall trying to climb stairs because she doesn't want her hands to come out of her pockets.
It's so cute-I love it!
Love her!

Christmas Eve - Part 2

Christmas Eve at the McKinneys. We spend the late afternoon and evening with the Jason's parents and siblings. We had a fun time, lots of good food, a wonderful Christmas Eve service, LOTS of presents, (there are a lot of kids now) lots of visiting and fun! It was a wonderful Christmas - love this time of the year!
My 3 AMAZING babies, I mean big kids. The are SO adorable!!
Can you say HOT HOT HOT??? And he's got to be the best Daddy ever!!
When I look at pictures I still can't believe I am a Mommy. This girl makes it very special.
Grace and Tyler - their first Christmas! YEA!!
Sheila and Briscoe - love these two!
Katie and Ian - what a great picture!! We were having fun taking pictures while the boys were out playing basketball!
Although she looks nice in this picture she was NOT happy about our picture taking. She probably wished she was outside with the boys!
Another one of this cutie!

Christmas Eve - Part 1

Christmas Eve breakfast at Brian and Sheila's. We had some REALLY yummy hashbrown, egg and sausage mix. Lots of fun visiting and kid playing. It is such fun way to start off all the Christmas festivities and traditions. Love it!

Cameron asked if he could please have a picture by the tree. So I did. :)
Brian taking a break from the game my husband is addicted too, he's trying to get Brian addicted! :)
Isn't he the cutest???

{Project 365} January 16th

The master bedroom is FINALLY underway!! YEA!!

We went and played in the snow on Saturday! It was SO fun. Sheila's Dad has some property in Rye Valley with a one of his brothers and they have some snowmobiles. Wahooo. Curt and Rene' babysat for the day so we could go and have some fun. I was a little nervous to drive but I think I got the hang of it. It was nice to have a day to goof off with Jason and good friends.

{Project 365} January 15th

Love this boy! Love how happy and funny he is!
He was cold on this day, so he joined me in the bathroom and get warm by the heater.
So cute!

{Project 365} January 9th - 14th

Well, how's this for being behind??? :) We had a full week of sickness - and let me tell you it was a baaaaaaaaad week. The poor kids were so sick. It was very sad. But we made it through and everyone is healthy now! YEA! Praise the Lord!
I was too sleep deprived to remember what else happened in the last week. That, and our computer died on us. No computer, no posting. AND I don't have a good enough to remember. So I guess we will just start fresh from here.

{Project 365} January 8th and 9th

Another post without pictures - who wants that??? But our computer is giving out on us so I can't access my pictures. It was another SICK day in our house today. I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel though. Jason - ready for this - took a SICK day today!!!! I know, the world must be ending. :) I think it was good for him though and I sure hope he feels better. Poor guy is REALLY feeling terrible. No sleep again last night for either of us. I ended up with both boys in bed with me and Jas took Madison out in the recliner. Yea, toooo many of these nights. They must end soon, hopefully tonight. But the Lord is getting us through and giving strength that you know must come from him cause there is NO where else it could come from! :)

I saw a lot more smiles and a little play time today so that is a good sign. I miss all the laughing and silliness! Even just a couple minutes of dancing and running. (LOVE toddler dancing!!) Which was quickly followed by crying and coughing fits. But it's a start. Well I better go get an early start just in case our bad record continues...

Saddest Moment of the Sick Day:
Madison following me very sadly around the house as I was caring for the kids. I stopped in the kitchen and she plopped down on the floor. I told her I would be just a minute and then I would hold her. I turned around a minute later and she was laying flat on her stomach on the little rug in front of my stove - sound asleep. Yep, pretty cute but broke my heart!! I scooped her up and took her somewhere more comfortable!

{Project 365} January 6th & 7th

SICK, SICK, SICK. That about sums up our life right now! We have been buried in it. Someone has been up all night for a few nights now. Which means Mommy and Daddy have been up too! We have had high temps, VERY sore throats, horrible coughs and even some throwing up and very limited nap times and a late night doctors trip. When I took Madison to our Doc in Boise - who is the best by the way - it was after hours and a last minute trip. She was just getting so bad we thought I better take her. So I called Jason's Grandma to come sit with the boys until he got home. I was rushing around to get myself dressed, Madison clothed, diaper bag packed, car warmed up and everything ready to go. Drove the hour to Boise with Madison feeling AWFUL in the back and me not being able to help. Got to the docs and realized I FORGOT my purse. So no money. Then realized I was on empty. Then realized my phone was dead. My charger just happened to be in my purse, at home. Remembered my parent were not in Boise but visiting in Ontario. Sheesh...Finished the appointment and went to my Grandma's house -who NEVER goes out in the evenings and that night they decided to go out to eat. SO I waited and they made it home after half hour. My Grandpa took me and put gas in my car and got a hold of my Mom who had my Dad drop her at my sisters in Nampa on his way to Ontario. So I picked her up, used her cell phone to call Jason and she bought me and Madison dinner. Drove me home so I could take care of Madison and we finally got to call it a night. What a night it was too!
Jason and I both are sick too. Man, it's hard when the whole family gets it. Cam is doing 100% better now - praise the Lord. Madison seems to be at the end of hers, we will see. Blake is not doing good at all. I am doing better, I think I about have it licked! (I pray I do!!) Jason is feeling awful but he is the kind of guy who NEVER has taken a sick day! He goes at just as hard as ever. He works 10-12 hour days in the 12 degree winter weather and never complaines. Then he comes home and declares a night off for me. What a guy huh???? SO that is what our days consist of. No new pics - just surviving and taking care of my poor kiddos. Loving on them, trying to rest, trying to get them to rehydrate and get better. Hopefully soon...
Well, all that to say I should shut down the computer and get some sleep!

{Project 365} January 5

Oh boy. We have had the sickness reign down on our house! Cam was running a temp of about 100, Madison at about 101. Madison seems to really be miserable, poor thing. Cam doesn't feel too hot either but is a little bit better! I hate it when the kids are sick! It makes me so sad.

Cam laying around watching a movie.

Daddy and Madison
Blake feeling great! Thank the Lord!
I am feeling sick too - I have been sick 4 times in the last month and a half. Hmm...I thought I was healthier than that. Hopefully my record changes soon! Jason is starting to feel sick too so stay away from our house!

Cookie Day

Working SO hard to get caught up and STAY caught up! Whew...that is a task!
We had a fun cookie day with Sheila, Brogan and Briscoe. It was interesting and a little crazy with 4 two year olds and a 1 year old! Ha. Sometimes I think we are crazy for the things we try!
They did a really good job though. Had lots of fun, made a BIG mess and actually turned out some pretty cute cookies. Sheila and I frosted the rest (the ones we shared with people. Minus all the slobber and germs!)
Madison was very serious about her job! And she wanted COMPLETE controll of the sprinkles.
Blake just wanted to eat everything within reach.
And...Cameron too!
Brogan did a really good job and Briscoe tried really hard to get his hands on some goodies.
Supervising in a white shirt. I know - but it made it through!
The aftermath...
The completed project. Fun day - love the Christmas season!

{Project 365} January 4

Can you say ORGANIZE???
We spent the day clearing, cleaning, organizing, throwing away, giving away and putting away.
I feel SO good about what we did! Love the feeling of clean and organized. What a great guy I have to use his day off to help me. The kids even helped!

{Project 365} January 3

Cameron
Love this boy! Keeps me smiling.
He lights up my world!

Cameron LOVES "Mochas" and asks for them daily. Who drinks too many in our house??? For the record his are made with ovaltine and milk. :)

When he toots he says "Cuse my bum Mommy" Ha.

{Project 365}

So, I have a couple friends that have done this Project 365 on their blogs. It's a picture a day for the year to keep track of our daily lives. Things that I might not usually document. It's going to be a challenge - I am already 3 days into January and not posted one yet! Ha. BUT - I am going to try, and something will be better than nothing. :)
