Fun Weekend - Special Stuff

Last weekend Jason and I got to go on a mini weekend away. Kristen, Grammy and Grandpa stayed the night so we could get away. It's SO nice to do that! Although - as much as I want a break from the babies I miss them SO much. We stayed in Boise and drove around, ran some errands. Then we ate at Tusconos (sp). My new FAVE restaurant! I loved it!! I walked out of there 10lbs heavier though. They just kept bringing more and more and more meat! And the salad bar had so much good food that you had to taste. And then there was the dessert..... Then we watched movies all night. We slept in the next morning, (YEA) Jason snuck out and and washed and cleaned out the car and brought me coffee. Then went to IHOP for breakfast and a Costco run. Doesn't sound like the fanciest of dates but it was so nice!

(My good Lookin Dinner Date!)

(This doesn't look like a lot of food - but by the end - it REALLY is!!)

(Red up means NO MORE FOOD!)
We also stopped at my Grandma's grave. I had not been back since her funeral and really wanted to visit. It was a really hard visit. It seems like the hurt and pain of her passing has not had a chance to really happen with me yet. But the last month I have just been struggling! Things are finally seeming real and final and I am having a hard time dealing with that. Her house is being packed up, things being sold and my Grandpa going more and more downhill. I just miss her so much and hate to think she is actually gone. My only hope is I do know I will see her again - in Heaven! I was able to get a quilt of hers that I love and her coffee table. It's so special to have some things in the house that I can say were hers!

10 Months - Where did it go???

Cameron is getting SO big and funny! He is pretty much happy all the time. He went through a crancky patch while he was really teething but for the most part is just a happy guy! He has always kinda liked sucking his thumb, but lately his newest thing is loving to suck it with a bib! It's so funny! Blankets or clothes will work if he's in a bind but his bib is what does it! No bib in particular just so long as it's a bib. It cracks me up! He can be crying and very upset but as soon as you hook the bib around his neck he grabs it and starts sucking his thumb and life is good! He does it when he's happy too - doesn't really matter the mood! I love it! :) He is crawling everywhere, only army style though. He will not get up on his hands and knees. He is getting really good and sturdy at standing himself up too. And man is he chunkin up! He's a big boy! Rolly polly legs that go on for miles! SO cute! (he'll love this post when he's a teenager! ) He probably weighs around 18 lbs but it's been a few months since we have been able to get him weighed. He LOVES water and has loved the new little pool we got! Eating is about the same as last month - continues to love pretty much anything anytime! He sleeps great at night not as well during naps. He's usually happy though so I think he operates off of little sleep! He talks and laughs all the time! He's growing and doing great! Love this kid!!!

Blake has just blossomed the last few months! He still is a quiet studier a lot, especially of new things. But now he is such a happy, giggly talker and laugher! He is such a happy guy! He has been fussier lately but I think he must be teething. I haven't seen any teeth come through yet but I think they will any day now.... Blake is getting around now too! He has the funniest crawl I have ever seen! He leaves his left leg tucked under at all times (it's the leg he tucks to sit - so he is ready at a moments notice!) It's really jerky too one arm goes way in the air and then the other. Definately not one flowing motion! It's so cute! He has always been up on his hands and knees though, he has never tried the army crawl. He goes SO fast and says oh oh oh oh the whole time. He is learning to pull himself up on things. When he falls though he knows how to tuck and roll - which is nice since the other two dont! :) He is so long and lean! This boy is all muscle and not an ounce of fat on him. He is very tall too. The difference in the boys is amazing! Blake is probably around 18lbs as well. He is doing better with his solids and seems to enjoy trying new adult food off my plate. It is a funny picture when I have all three at my feet or hanging on to me begging for food! Or to be picked up, sometimes it's funny sometimes I don't know what to do with all of them. It's a lot of babies! But all in all Blake is just doing wonderful and I sure love him!(Here is the pic of the way he crawls - it looks like he is stopping or getting ready to sit but he's nothe's crawling!)

And there is Madison! Our little ball of fire! She is a girl through ang through! Some days she is so happy and loving life and some days she is so cranky and letting you know life is not great right now. :) Hmm....sounds kinda like a girl doesn't it???? She has two teeth now, on the bottom. Teething time was not a happy time for her but we are in a break period right now and things are better. :) She is a master crawler! She is everywhere and into everything. The bathroom, more specifically the toilette is her favorite place to be. To stand on, to suck on you know the fun stuff. Of course, I don't allow that (just in case you were wondering) but if I happen to forget to close the bathroom door and turn my back in she goes! She can pull herself up on anything anywhere. She is also getting to be pretty clingy to mom. She wants to be everywhere I am and does not like it a lot of times if I pass her off. Sometimes it doesn't matter it's that depending mood thing! Her newest thing is pulling as much dirty laundry as she can reach from the hamper by her bed into her crib! She thinks that is a fun game! :) She is still pretty tiny, probably 14-15lbs and in 6 month clothes. She still doesn't like to eat much so it's a lot of force feeding at most meals. We learned that she DOES like to swim as long as the water is the perfect temperature. It needs to sit in the sun for at least 2 hours before it is acceptable to her delicate taste! Haha, she makes me laugh! What a girl, I am excited to see what she grows up to be and what God will do in her life! I love her lots and lots! (below is her crib with her dirty spit up filled laundry!)

As for me - I am loving my kids and my life. Some days I would have a harder time saying that, they are teaching me SO much about patience and unconditional love! I am learning daily that I am not perfect and seeing first hand the example of Christ's continual love for me - no matter my attitude or mood! I do have to say, I always thought I was a pretty patient person. I guess that's why God gives us kids, to make sure we are staying humble! :) It's pretty stressful somedays taking care of three babies, but such a blessing. I still sit in wonder at the fact that I have triplets - healthy, happy, growing triplets! WOW! God is so good. I still can't believe that it's real and happening to me - but so grateful it is! Just enjoying everyday cause in two months they will be 1 year old!!! How did that happen?????

(Since crawling started it's getting harder and harder to get a group shot!!)

Our Special Dedication

We had the babies, and really us, dedicated on July 5th. My Dad did the dedication which was so special to me! He is such an encouragement and always knows what to say! He also made it pretty funny, of course! That's what he does best! Curt and Pastor Jodi prayed over all of us at the end. It was special to have Curt involved also!! The dedication was so encouraging just to know how many people are there to help, love and hold us accountable. Our church family is so special and so close! It was a little scary too - there is such a responsibility as a parent. To raise them right and most importantly for the Lord. To teach and make sure they know. WOW - it freaks me out. But I know that the Lord will show us and teach us how to live and lead. So as long as we are following God the way we should be, our kids will know.
Also, a little side note - the dress that Madison is wearing my Grandma Martindale picked out. She bought 14 years ago for a very very good friend of the family that had a little daughter. She bought it for her. Debbie had kept it all these years and thought since Grandma wasn't around to buy Madi dresses (cause you know she would have SHOWERED her with dresses) that I would like to have it. SO special! I can't even tell you! So that is the special meaning to Madi's dress!

4th of July

What a wonderful 4th we had! SO much fun! Last year I had to miss all the festivities cause I was on bed rest - cooking those babies just as long as possible! Now look at 'em, so healthy and big! What a blessing. We had a big bbq at our house to break in the new patio Jason poured. It was a great success and lots of fun! It's always so nice to spend time with our family and friends! And of course all the delicious food is good too!

I am also so thankful for the freedom we enjoy in our country! I know I take it for granted most days! But we have it so good here in America! So many men and women sacrificing their lives and families to keep us free and safe! I know I need to be more thankful and remember! What an amazing blessing it is to live here free, free to worship my Lord and Savior and free to live my life!

Rene' put this cute collage together - So cute!

The great potato salad competition - I WON! :) Dill pickles all the way! Sorry Dad..... :)

Wahoo

Blakes a crawler! Last Sunday for the first time Blake started crawling at Grammy and Grandpa's house. It was so exciting. Although I have to say that he has the funniest crawl I have ever seen! I don't even know how to explaine it but it cracks me up every time. He does only crawl on his hands and knees - never on his belly or the army crawl. It's so funny how different and unique each on our kids are. Blake really does things his own way, in his own time! I think that is awesome! So, I thought I better announce that he joined the ranks! :)

Teethers and Crawlers, OH MY!

Wow, these kids are growing up and changing WAY TOO FAST! I don't know waht to do with them! It's so exciting to see them learn to do and discover new things but it's so hard to not have my babies too! They are changing every day now it seems like. Something new happens every day! It's so cute! :) They are laughing and talking and playing with each other! They also have started to fight little baby fights. :) You know, they only want the toy the other one has?! And Madison can be somewhat of a bully. :) We have a leap frog toy that they can stand up and play with. She only wants to play on the side one of the boys are playing on. She will pull them over if she has to to get that side! It's so funny - but of course we do tell her no and move her to the other side. :) They do play a lot together too though. They crawl on each other and laugh and play. It's so great to have little playmates. :)

Cameron has TWO teeth now! Well one is barley up and the other you can see but can't feel yet. So needless to say he has been VERY GRUMPY! Poor guy - I do feel sorry for them! It can't feel good! He is a crawling machine these days! He is all over the place and in to everything. He is working on the standing up part and is getting close. Far enough away to bonk his head a lot though. :)

Madison has one tooth and i am not sure if she is working on another one or not. She crawls around like nobodys buisness! She can stand up with anything. She has decided it's a fun game to stand on top of the walker. You can imagine how that turns out! Not good - she is not as steady and strong as she thinks she is!

Blake I am not sure about in the teeth departement. He has been SO whiney and clingy these last few days that it wouldn't surprise me in the least. He is still learning this whole crawling thing. He can go in a circle REALLY good! I think he thinks he's crawling cause he smiles and laughs and looks so proud of himself. :) He can stand in his crib but that's all so far. He is getting there though!

Father's Day Pictures

We were up camping over Father's Day this year so we had to make up for it last weekend. Saturday night we went over to Mike and Katie's and had a fun bbq. We ate and played outside - it was so nice! They have such a cute yard to enjoy! They also have the funnest outside toys, my kids are going to LOVE when they are old enough. They have an AWESOME and I do mean awesome tree house Mike built their boys. They also have a rope swing that you can sit on and jump out of a big tree. I even gave it a try! :) I forgot my camera that night so I am going to steel some from Katie and post later.

Sunday Jason was working :( but we did Father's Day for my Dad at Kristen and Sage's house. It was Kristen's first family gathering and she did a great job! She has her house fixed up very cute! She made us a roast (it was delicious!) and we all brought sides to share. My Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Jean came also which is always nice! :) The babies were very good and even let me sneak in a little shopping trip! :)
