Update 2 - The Kids

I am NOT ok with how BIG they look in this picture!
They are still pretty stinkin' cute though!
(If I do say so myself!)

Little Miss Madison

Oh, this child! She is amazing! She will keep my on my knees, praying, for the rest of my life I think! She is so full of life and presonality! She is very stubborn, determined child. (Yes, Mom and Dad I know - she's a mini me and it's payback! :)) She can be the silliest, happiest little ball of joy one minute - and the next she can be so upset and throw fits I can't even describe to you! She is all girl in some ways and others she is not. She screams and screeches with the best of them when she is excited or scared. She loves to play in the dirt but gets upset if anything gets dirty. She has a temper. She likes bugs, most of the time. It changes. When she is really happy she babbles non-stop in her own adorable language. She does not say a lot yet, but I am just waiting. She LOVES to eat still. Great eater, not too picky either. Not loving her milk these days but we did finally switch from bottles to sippy cups and I think she misses the bottles! She LOVE LOVE LOVES to climb, anything, anywhere without thought to what could happen. Yes, my heart stops often! Sleeping well through the night, wakes up anywhere from 7-8. Goes down at 8:30 (unless Dad is in charge, he lets them stay up late!) Down to one nap a day (mommy likes 2 naps!) and sleep for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Goes down GREAT wakes up grumpy if I don't get her out RIGHT AWAY! We are working on that! Is a Mommys girl - but still loves her Daddy! She is a joy and a challenge. Can't wait to see what God will do with her spit fire personality!

Blakester!

Blake is a super sweet little boy! He is funny about being sweet though, it's pretty random. Sometimes he just wants to hug and kiss and hold hands with the other kids, and sometimes he is a loner. So funny. He is ALWAYS loving on Mommy though. He comes running in at full speed and grabs the back of my legs, sticks his head through my legs and just hugs me for a while. SO cute! He loves babies, is usually very sweet with them! He has started being a little more of a stinker these days. He isn't obeying mommy as well as he used to. Has been very stubborn when I ask/tell him to do something. Everything that has always been off limits is now ok - or so he has decided! He has been starting to push and hit a little bit these days. So we are working on being nice, nice touches ect. He does have a sweet heart though and I love that I can see that! He has always been our quiet one but is getting noiser everyday!! He doesn't talk (as in words you can understand) but he babbles and hollers a lot. He likes to "Run Fast", and jump off things. He loves music and dancing and ring around the rosy! He's never been our big eater but I think he must be growing right now because I can't keep enough food and milk in his little belly. Blake is a great sleeper, although a little light. So if someone else is having a hard time sleeping he will get woke up. Otheriwse, goes down at 8:30 and sleeps until 8. He also takes on nap and naps great! 2-3 hours depending on the day or if Madison wakes them up! :)Love this little boy and all the joy he brings us! Excited to see the kind of man he will grow up to be!

Cam the Man
Cameron is FUNNY! He keeps me smiling! He knows how to make you laugh and does his best to do it!! He is a talker - talks ALLLLL the time! And you understand most of it. He also babbles, non stop - I love listening to him talk. He is very animated when he talks, he has GOT something to say! Haha..love it! He loves to dance, jump and just be silly! He LOVES basketball and most any kind of ball. He is really good at basketball too. He can shoot and dribble too! He has a special monkey that he absolutley loves, asks for it all the time. Plays with him, talks about him, loves that monkey. He also likes dolls, yes my son likes dolls. :) He takes them on walks (in Madisons babydoll walker) and pats their back after he makes crying noises for them. It's got to be one of the cutest thing ever. He asks for pictures now - above is his cheesy grin when I ask him to smile. He has been VERY VERY whiney lately. Cries and gets upset about everything these days. He has also been getting frustrated more and hitting at things when he's mad. So we are working on how to be nice and deal with things. Really though, he is just easy going and happy most of the time. He's my easy one. I need one of those! :) He loves to eat, loves meat! He asks to eat and then asks to eat meat! He is adding "ies" to everything i.e. mommies, daddies, monkies, sissies ect. So funny! He is a SUPER sleeper. Sleeps long and hard! Same sleeping schedule of the other two. I love this sweet boy so much, I think he is going to make a good husband some day!

Update 1 - The Adults

Well, I thought it was about time for an update! I was doing so good at my once a month update on the kids and now I have totally fallen behind! :) They keep me so busy these days that I barely have time to get on here let alone get a big update done! :) But here goes....

Jason: Is staying SO busy at work! This is a blessing (though if you asked me right now you would get that answer begrudgingly! I miss him so much!) but I know that God is taking care of us and we are thankful! He's been working loonnnnngg hours, goes out of town regularly, right now is busy with fire season! The wet spring and mild summer has made it just right for the fires. When that happens they go out, try and fight the fires around their polls, and then replace all the damaged polls to get people back into power. His schedule this week is work 16 hour days then hours of sleep and repeat until everything is ship shape again. When he is home he is completely dedicated to helping me out. To making sure he has lots of time with the kids and that I have the breaks I need after he's been gone. He even makes sure he spends time with me which we both are missing right now! And in the rest of his spare time he works on the house. He keeps the lawn immaculate! Right now we are getting bids and getting ready to do a bit of a remodel and addition. We are both excited but that will mean more work for Jason! Although for the first time in our married life, we are having someone else do some of the work which will be awesome for Jason!!
Me: I am mostly staying busy taking care of our little crew! It's the hardest/best/most frustrating/most rewarding/stretching/growing/wonderful job I have ever had! :) Right now all 3 kids are cutting at least 3 teeth! Yikes! I think they are growing too because I can not keep enough food in them to keep them happy. I have been slowly working on projects around the house that I have been working on for at least a year. That's how my projects go these days, but that's ok! My biggest project is raising my kiddos! Been walking everyday with Sheila and Jamie. Jennifer also joins us somedays. It's so fun to get out and exercise and have good company too! I have also been doing a Bible study at Calvary Chaple and have loved it. I have to miss the last week - I am so bummed! I have been learning a lot from them! One of the biggest things I am learning is that this is my season. That raising my kids, teaching them, showing the Christ and loving them IS what I am supposed to do right now. So, if I don't do a lot of other things - that's ok. Because my calling is to raise my kids - and to raise them in the Lord. I tend to bummed that I am not doing as many things. I read crafty blogs, or even friends blogs that are just good at certain things and are always doing something creative. Then I get discontent. Or wonder why I can't do all that stuff. You see, one of my passions is to creat and make things homey and beautiful! So I do miss doing those things. But then I remind myself a couple things. 1 - They don't have triplets. :) 2. This is my season - brought by the Lord that I do NOT want to miss out on! So thankful for the teachings of wiser women! I could write a whole book on all the other things I am learning right now but we will leave it at that for now! :) I am heading up the inside makeover of our church. New paint, window treatments and decor. SOSO excited to see some much needed changes in there! I am SOSO thankful and blessed to have my husband! He has been wonderful throughout these harder days - always encouraging, reminding and giving me breaks. He's amazing!

  • Been busy around here!

  • Working on remembering what a blessing Jason's job is - even when he's gone!
  • Thankful Jason is home for a little while now (as long as the weather cooperates!)
  • Been going to a Home Builders Bible study and LOVING it! So nice to be encouraged as a mom and thankful for the ladies who are leading it and sharing with us!
  • Took the kids to Roaring Springs for the first time - we had fun! Jacob and Bianca helped me watch the kiddos! Can't wait to go again!
  • Had 2 VERY good days this week! Thankful for those!
  • Took the kids to the fair in Ontario this week - was HOT! Went.....ok......but a good experience!
  • Got to go for a nice, long and fun shopping day with Sheila last week!! YEA!
  • Got to spend a day last week with Grace and all the girls doing wedding stuff! So fun! The dress is AWESOME!!

  • Put all three kids in the shopping cart at Wal-Mart for the first time! BIG step for this momma. (My stroller was out of commission) I did wipe it down with my sanitizing wipes I carry with me - I bet people walking past thought I was CRRAAAZY, you might even think it was crazy! :) Somethings die hard.....the NICU nurses have ruined me for life! :)

Seriously, Designer Diapers?

Trippin' - Life with Triplets: Seriously, Designer Diapers?: "Is it just me, or have the diaper manufacturers lost their minds? First Huggies introduced their Jeans Diapers. They say, 'HUGGIES® gets ..."
I got a good laugh out of this! :) But, it is true - although I have been tempted to buy those little denim one just cause they are so darn cute!

Wedding Bells!!!

Grace and Tyler are getting married!!
HOORAY!
We are so very excited for you two!
Congratulations!!

Title....I can never come up with a title!

{Poor sickie - loves Dads chair!}
{Madisons first ponytail}
{Not a happy camper - not feeling well}

This week has flown! It has been somewhat of a trying week! We came home from camping with sick kiddos! Mom and Dad followed closely behind! We spent the first half of the week recovering and nursing the kiddos. So we just hung out at home, watched movies, broke up lots of fights between kiddos who didn't feel good and didn't sleep good, and tried to keep up with life.
{Cam got a haircut!}

Wednesday I walked with Sheila and tried to catch up on house work. I got a WONDERFUL break in the afternoon to get my hair done. I love getting my hair cut and colored! Always so fun! :) Rene' and Abigail came over to watch the kids for me. Jason gave me the night off since he was leaving the next morning.
Thursday Jason took off for some out of town work they got called out to do. He worked all week, Thursday included then worked until about 11 Friday night. The kids and I went and stayed with Kristen and Sage. We had a bbq with them and Sage's family on Thursday, it was fun to get to know them. Had a horrible night sleep that night - still having sick kids so sleeping at night is not going so hot! :P I got 3 hours that night, 3 hours Friday night. Not enough let me tell ya! Friday we tried to go swimming but this silly momma forgot to check the hours so we got all ready and went and they weren't open. So we played at the park instead. It was still fun but we REALLY wanted to go swimming! :) We just chilled for the rest of the day.
{The pool -sigh-we wish we were there!}
It was a really hard weekend. I tell you, God designed it to be a DADDY AND A MOMMY for a reason!!! It's been rough. I feel like we have hit some discipline and obeying roadblocks that I am having a hard time breaking through. It's even harder when Daddy isn't here to back me up and give me the support I need. The kids don't understand where he is and as for him often! I feel at a lose most days as how to handle them all! Especially cause they are still just toddlers, barely out of the baby stage and there are 3 of them and only one of me. I find I am often discouraged these days, then I feel discouraged about being discouraged! (Like that train of thought??? :) I want to enjoy this time, to soak it all in but the truth is it's just hard. And I think it will be for a while, especially until Jason is able to stay home. I do know though, that God knew these kids were coming, that He planned all alone for me to have all 3 of them, and to have all 3 all at once! So I know it's His perfect will and I know that He will see me through. And that might mean some days I do just "get through" the day - but that's seeing me through! And He is faithful to remind me that are such special little kiddos. They are learning and doing such funny things these days!! All their new funny things to come in the next post! :)
Jason is leaving in the morning to go and fight fires and fix lines that are down because of the fires. Whew...it's gonna be a long week. For both of us. Although, if I am hones with myself, he has it much harder! He will be working 16 hour days, sleeping the required 6 hours and then on to the 16 again. And it is not easy work. I have never fought fires, or worked in that kind of heat, or in that proximity to fires, or that kind of hard labor but I am guessing it's HARD, HOT and very TIRING!!! That man never stops - he is so amazing! I want to be like him when I grow up! Thanks Babe!
Now to bed - need to make up for all the hours I missed! :) Got to be ready to start my week off right - spending some time at church worshiping!
