Well....Obviously blogging is not a high priority these days. We have not had internet for a while - just using our phones so it's a little slllooowww... And my computer is ready to crash, a new one is needed.
Life has been crazy busy around here. Kids are busy, busy, busy! Always on the go! We are adjusting to life up here and really enjoying certain aspects. The kids went to an outdoor games at Ponderosa Park and loved it. They had lots of fun! Through that we met a group of gals that are so nice! A lot of them are homeschoolers too - so I have found a homeschool group to plug into. We have been meeting this group of gals at the beach once a week as well. The kids LOVE the beach! We have spent the majority of our time at the beach. It's pretty great! We have been doing a ton of camping, hiking and bbqing too!
We are starting to make some really good friends which has been such a blessing. It was a lonely few months for me. But the Lord has been blessing us and bringing some great friends into our life!
We get lots of company up here too. Seems like we are always busy showing someone around our new life. That's pretty fun too! We sure miss all our favorite people we are used to living close to. So all the visits definitely makes it easier! We had a surprise move - yes another move! It had only been 9 months since our last move. It was very stressful! It was very hard to find another rental, they are few and far between up here. Especially during the summer! But the Lord provided and we found a beautiful place, just around the corner from the old house! It's mostly unpacked now and just waiting for the last of the pictures to be hung up. My mom came up and stayed a few days while we were moving which was a LIFESAVER! I don't think it would have happened without her! We love Grammy so much!
Cam seems to be doing much better overall with his breathing/lung issues. We are starting to think it is the clean mountain air up here. Every time we go down to the Valley for an extended amount of time Cam develops his issues and almost always needs to go to the doc. A couple weeks ago he had a really bad spell! We were ready to take him to the ER when his meds finally seemed to do the trick. Always scary for Mom! He was really struggling and barely making it 2 hours before he needed more. It's been so great that it's been better up here though! Hope it keeps up!
I have been having huge success with my energy issue! After getting the run around for a year and dealing with EXTREME exhaustion - I am having some success! Praise God! I went to a naturopath here in McCall and she has worked wonders! Still have a ways to go but so happy to see improvement! YAY!
We have also still been trying to sell our house. {BIG SIGH} It's been on the market since March and no offers. We have had quiet a bit of interest but nothing serious. So we put it up for rent about a month ago and still nothing. AHHHHH! We are just praying and trying to trust Gods timing. It's been hard because its so stinking tight making two house payments. But God is providing and just praying something will work out soon!
The kids are growing up way too fast. The boys are now riding bikes without training wheels. WHAT??? How did that happen??? That is a sure sign that my kids are way.too.big! They talk like big kids and just plain look like big kids. They are so fun, such a blessing! But I really wish someone would slow them down! They are truly growing to be wonderful little people. So proud of them!

Well, in a small nutshell - that's what we have been up to! Hopefully I can be better at keeping a record of our new life up here.

We had a busy, stressfull, crazy and fun week! I headed down the mountain Monday with the kiddos to Boise. We had a dr.s appointment for Cam regarding his throwing up issues. Poor kid has thrown up once a week for 8 weeks now. We finally decided to go see Dr. John (No better doc EVER!) and see if we could get it undercontrol. My dear Mom met me at Grandma and Grandpa's so we could visit and then headed to the appointment with me (even though she just got back from Cali!) to help out with the other two. Dr. John thought it needed looked into. He said it had lasted too long and was not normal! So he set up an appointment at St. Lukes to do an upper GI on Cam to make sure everything was working right.

From the docs we headed to Kristens house to spend some time with them! We miss them so much! We put the kids down and Kristen and I got in some good visiting. That evening Super Uncle Sage watched all the kids so Kristen and I could go out! We went to see the movie The Host - one of our FAVORITE books! WE WERE SO BUMMED!!! It was awful. Not even close to the book. Dumb, dumb, dumb. Anyway, moving on. We had a blast have girl time together and that's whats important! When I got back Cam was not doing well. He had been having diareah for about 3 days now and was pretty sad. I ended being up with him all night with dieareah. About 1 in the morning Blake woke up throwing up. So, I went back and forth between the boys all.night.long. Miserable night. Everyone was better the bext morning. My mom came back over to get Madison and Blake so I could get Cam to his next appointment. She is wonderful - fyi! Cam and spent the day with Kristen, Sage and Jonah. It was a nice quiet day. We headed to Cams appointment and he was a champ! I was so proud of him. He was VERY nervous! Poor guy has had it rough! He was allowed to eat all day so they could see inside. He had to go into a room with a big X-ray machine. He had to wear a big, heavy vest. Then he had to stand on this huge machine and drink what was supposed to be a nasty drink. Only Cam loved it and asked for more! He laid perfectly still and did everything the dr asked. Such a good boy!  They said everything looked good, other than he may not be passing food through his little tummy very well. So from there we were set up with a Childrens Gastrointerologist on Wednesday.

Next we headed home to pick up other kiddos to have dinner at Wingers with some of our favorite people. Aunt Boo and Grandma Danny. Grandma Rene and Abigail came too. We took Aunt Boo out for ice cream after to say a belated happy birthday. We stayed the night at Aunt Boos and throughly enjoyed that! We have missed all our special time with that special lady! She may our stay very special and nice! We headed to Mom and Dads for the rest of the week.

We had a couple really nice play dates with Sheila and Jamie. Oh, I miss those girls and all our playdates! The kids love to play together and we love to talk and drink coffee. Just plain wonderful! We also enjoyed the rest of the week just soaking up time with Grammy and Grandpa. We ate out, played, shopped, they helped out at the house and just spent lots of time togther. Grandpa always makes the best breakfasts for us. Grammy always plays lots of fun and creative games with the kiddos. The kids spent some time playing at Grandma Renes and Grandpa Curts house too. They always love that!

Wednesday we headed to the specialist. He started out small and long story short seemed like it was acid reflux. He said that Cams esaphogus had been damaged from a virus and is not working quite right. That's probably why food isn't moving through the right way either. We have him on some meds for a couple weeks and will go from there. Praying this works!

Saturday I got the best gift ever. I got a whole day with my girlfriends in Boise! Sheila, Jamie and I went and got pedicures and spent the day shopping, eating and talking. Such a nice break. Girl time is always good. My parents watched the kiddos for me and spoiled them rotten.  Sunday we went to church at Kaleo. I miss that church body so much. It was wonderful to be back!We had lunch with Elma and Joe after. They are some of my favorite people as well and just adore my kids. And we ate at El Eraderro - our family favorite! Sunday night things went downhill. Cam got a stuffy nose and a bit of a cough and by Sunday night he was not breathing well at all. He also had a heart rate of 156 all night which is really fast for the kiddo. We did treatments all night long and got into Dr. John in the morning. Sure enough, poor kid had pneumonia! Sigh.... We ended up staying an extra day to work on the house so we can get it sold but instead went to the doc. MY MOM went to work at my house anyway with the other two kiddos. What a lady huh???? She never stops helping other people. What an example of a wonderful person. A lady from their church helped as well. How neat huh? Cam started doing much better with antibiotics and we headed home Tuesday.

Whew....what a week! It was good though! Thankful I got to go back and visit friends and family and very thankful for good doctors!

Crazy Day

The kids and I spent the morning in the Doctors office today, that's always fun right?! The boys have this really weird thing going on. They both (at completely different times) have been randomly throwing up. It's always early in the morning and they have NO symptoms. No fevers, no aches, no lasting sickness. They throw up 6 or 7 times and then they are done. They eat big meals and play as if nothing ever happened. It has happened about 3 times in the last month for each boy. Spaced out by a week to week and a half each time. Our last episode happened yesterday which was I decided to go get it checked out. The doc thought it was weird as well, especially cause the kids are so healthy. She went on and on about how healthy the are inside and out! Pretty good for little preemies huh?! God is good! So by the end of the appointment she decided maybe a blood draw was what we should start with.

Uh-oh! You know a blood draw means right???? NEEDLES! POKES! SHOT LIKE PROCEDURE! Cam heard when she said she would order the labs. He looked at me with a pannicked look

Cam : "Mom, what are labs? What are labs Mom? What are they going to do to us? MOM???"
Me: "They need to get some of your blood to make sure you guys are nice and healthy and stop throwing up. "
Cam: "HOW do they get my blood?"
Me: "Ummm....with just a little needle, a teeny tiny poke!"
Cam: WAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

He cried up as we checked out, cried as we walked across the street, cried as we checked in and cried as we waited. Poor guy, the whole time just kept saying "Mom, I don't think I like needles and pokes. Mom this scare me!" SAD! Once we got into the room the REAL freakout began! Remember there was 1 mom to 3 kids! BAD ratio! I am trying to sit in a spinning chair and hold Cam down (and calm his crying and screaming that has got MUCH louder and more intense!) all the while keeping Blake and Madison away from the chair and calm also. Because by this time, Madison has started crying! Her face was so sad and scared! She told me later she cried because she was so sad for her brothers! (SWEET!) and Blake crying harder and harder because he knew (and was watching) what was coming for him! Whew.... Cam got done and I try to get him to calm down and stand by Madison so I can hold Blake. When I turn to him he starts screaming bloody murder. Oh my! That boy is strong when he is scared. It took all my strength to hold him down and he still jerked right as they were sticking him which shoved the needle in and quickly yanked it out. So he go two pokes. When it was finally done it took me quite a while to calm the boys down. Madison was such a helper though. She patted the boys and told them it was ok. She helped pick out prizes for them. I took them out to eat when we were done and the boys wouldn't eat with their right hand - apparently it was incompacitated! They ate left handed which made them look like kids who had never fed themselves before! Madison continued to take care of them which blessed me so much! We went to the park after and magically they could use their arms again. Hmmmm....

We got home and went straight for naps! We were all SO tired! I was emotionally drained! It is pretty sad and stressful watching your kids be scared, fall apart and be pricked! I was also a little embarassed at the fits.... We had a talk when we got home about having to obey and be calm EVEN when it's something scary. Results come in on Monday. If everyithing looks good there we will move on to allergy testing.

We ended our day with the Good Friday service at church. It was a very nice service and a good end to our day. It leaves me with a heavy heart but in a good way. Remembering what my Savior did for me, how he suffered. How awful it was. But with the knowledge that Sunday is coming! And what a day that was! Looking forward to Easter and all that it means! Love that the kids are beginning to understand, learn and watching their hearts soften.

10 Years and HAWAII!!!

Jason and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this year. I can not believe it's been that long. We have had a wonderful 10 years! It has been very hard at times, I amazed as I look back and think of some of the things we've been through. {Like triplets... :) } The Lord has blessed me with an amazing man and I love him very much. It hasn't always been smooth sailing but it's all been worth it. I am excited to spend another 10 years with this guy. I am glad he choose me and has put up with and loved me all these years. I couldn't ask for a better guy or a more AMAZING Dad to our kiddos. We had been saving for a few years and were able to celebrate in Hawaii! IT.WAS.AMAZING! Can't wait to go back! Perfect timing to be able to escape the McCall winter!
We had a FABULOUS 5 days in Oahu, Hawaii! It wasn't quite long enough. I loved every second. We ate a lot of really yummy food, did a lot of swimming and sunbathing on the beach. We hiked to a waterfall (that I jumped off, oh yea!) It was a small waterfall, but I jumped off it just the same. :) We drove to the North Shore and explored. Ate at Killer Tacos - YUM! We paddle boarded and tried body boarding. We were right on the Waikiki beach with lots of shopping and good restaurants. I loved exploring the strip. We tried to go snorkeling but they close on Tuesdays. Random huh?  Who closes randomly on Tuesdays??? That was our last day there too so we totally missed out on that one. I was so bummed! Guess we will just have to go back. It was so wonderful to just spend that time with Jason.
The worst part was the flying. I.HATE.FLYING. Every time I get on a plane I am pretty sure it's going down! :)Have my Dad to thank for that! The flight there wasn't so bad but the flight home was rough. Lots of turbulence. I wasn't convinced we were making it home. Jason just laughed. Not very supportive! :) Haha... So thankful for parents who loved on the kids while we played. It was a joint effort between both our parents and I am so grateful. Best trip ever. Such an amazing way to celebrate the 10 years we have had together.

January & February 2013

We have been enjoying winter up here. Yes, it's cold and there's so much snow. The kids have had a blast. Lots of 4wheeling in the snow. Lots of sledding and ice fishing. Jason has found his new hobby of ice fishing. He loves it. I'm not so impressed. It's mostly cold and not a whole lot of action. I may just be too impatient.
We've enjoyed having our family and friends come and visit too. Mom and Dad came for a couple days and Dad even braved the 14 degree weather to sled with his grandkids.

I love that the kids are learning all sorts of new things. They very much enjoy ice fishing with Dad. They are great helpers too. They watch the poles for bites and clean out the holes when the water starts freezing over. They love that job. Thankfully the holes are small because Blake fell in one on one of our trips. Only one leg fit through the hole which was so good. That could have been very scary.

Some days I feel like the kids never get along. Days like today when they are playing, hugging and feeding each other ice chunks makes my heart so happy. The boys sat outside for about a half hour feeding each other ice and laughing. It was pretty much the cutest thing I have seen. They love the snow and ice. Doesn't matter how cold it is they are out enjoying it. They say the want snow always!

The kids have been pretty sick but seemed to be getting better so we decided to make some Valentine treats. The kids love to help in the kitchen. I need to let them help more. It's just somewhat exhausting for Mom... Ha... I am working on that. They were great helps though this time and so excited to make something for all their favorite people. We also heart shaped pizza in honor of Valentines Day. What a fun day! Other than the kids, mostly Blake and Madison went downhill pretty fast. Poor kiddos!

Some of our favorite people came to visit us for the weekend! YEA! We had so much fun visiting and letting the kids play. They are such good buddies. It's been hard being away from everyone but it sure has been fun to have the overnight company. And then I get to completely hog Branson and hold him the whole time. LOVE that!

Blake and Madison really weren't doing well. They both had really high fevers that I couldn't break. They seemed to just get worse and worse. So we set up some movie time in my bed so they could still hang out but get some rest. Sheila and I ended up taking Blake and Madison to the ER because I was starting to worry about them. And sure enough they both had double ear infections and RSV. RSV has always been a scary one in our house because of the kiddos being preemies. It's awesome to see God work though. They are finally old enough and healthy enough on the inside that it's just a nasty infection and not life threatening anymore. They did talk about admitting them to the hospital but breathing treatments brought their breathing under control. Since we already have the equipment for all Cams issues they said we could do them at home and skip the hospital stay. Praise God. We also praised God for protecting little Branson from the RSV. They were totally exposed to it and it's never good for any baby to get.

Aunt Boo also made her first visit up. We have missed her so much! She always stayed with us and we used to get in a lot of time and visiting. We had to cut the trip short because of the snow storm she needed to beat out but we enjoyed the time we had.
